Amazon.com: Sale on Many Third-Party Gift Cards (TGI, Cold Stone & More)

The Offer

Direct Link

Amazon is selling a number of third-party gift cards or e-gift cards at a discount. Deal is available until June 22 or while supplies last.

The Fine Print

  • Deal ends June 22
  • One offer per account per card
  • Discount reflects at checkout (make sure you’re seeing the discount before placing the order)

Our Verdict

Nice to see Amazon getting offering some gift card deals as well. They aren’t as good as the eBay deals since with eBay it’s possible to stack the deal together with eBay Bucks, portal, and – most importantly – using up eBay gift cards which were purchased at a discount. Amazon, on the other hand, doesn’t allow you to use a gift card balance for the purchase of third-party gift cards.

These could be nice for use at these merchants. (Not too easy for reselling purposes.) And remember to use a credit card which has a high earning on Amazon purchases.

Sallie Mae cc gives 5% on Amazon purchases, although I’m thinking these won’t get the bonus cash back because it’s through third party sellers. Might still be worth a test purchase if you’re buying anyways.

Can always use Sallie Mae to purchase Amazon GCs which code correctly and then use those Amazon GCs to make your purchase.

But you wouldn’t be able to use those Amazon GCs to buy these GCs.

About the 5x for Amazon purchases? If that’s your question, I can confirm you definitely get 5% on non gift card purchases when using the card at Amazon.

As William suggested, it’s probably wise to always buy an Amazon gift card before purchasing so that there are no possible issues with the coding of the transaction being from Amazon or a third party seller.

Exactly what I was about to write.

I normally keep $100 balance on Amazon using their automatic load option and fund it with my SM card. Unfortunately in this case you can’t buy gc with Amazon gc.
