So how does this work? I got two messages upon applying the code, one for $5 and one for $10. How soon do they get added to your account?
I wish there was a landing page instead of going through the motions and then before you can place your order, it says code doesn't work.
Code doesn't work. Got this instead:
"Qualifying offers
Thank you for treating someone to an Amazon.com Gift Card. Now we're treating you to a $5 promotional credit automatically applied to your account, and good for eligible products sold by Amazon.com."
Not biting.
For those of you who it worked for, was there a banner indicating the promotion? I'm not seeing a banner, just the page of gift cards.

A message appears in checkout one you add the GCOFFER10 promo code.

I didn't get this one and the $40 was sold out before I got around to it.
Clicked $50 gift card option and found this message: Congratulations, your purchase qualifies you for an Amazon.com credit. A one-time $15 promotional credit will be automatically applied to your account and emailed to you within three (3) days after shipping.
Worked for me. Already received and used the $10
No go as well for both our accounts. I am a Prime member and my spouse is not.
