Our Verdict
We’ve seen the Starz deal but for three months before. Best showtime deal was 50% off for the first three months. Keep in mind both offers will enroll you in auto billing so if you forget to cancel you’ll be charged $8.99 per month for Star and $10.99 for Showtime.

Question: I hear lot of credit companies offering cash back for streaming services. What if I were to use my chase amazon rewards card to purchase a subscription to say Starz or HBO via amazon would I not get 5% back instead of 3% that I see propel or other cards give for streaming services?

Considering that Starz doesn’t get the AMEX streaming credit without being an add-on – its one way to skin a Rat.
Had an offer for Starz $25 for 6 Mo’s – with the upcoming next chapter of the POWER series.
Glad I double checked the AMEX streaming page first.
I did the EPIX $.99 deal for two months – just cancelled it as it due for bumped renewal.
$1.98 was worth it watched 2 Seasons of Deep State, 3 seasons of Berlin Station, Season 1 of Harlem Godfather – didn’t make it past first epi of Perpetual Grace .
A few other EPIX orginal series look interesting –
not into the Marvel/DC universe but Pennyworth is intriguing DC origin story forBatman’s/Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth.
