  • I have schedule B, C and D. Can any one kind tell me which one I need to purchase? TurboTax Deluxe with State 2022 or TurboTax Premier 2022 or TurboTax Home & Business 2022.
    Thanks!

  • Does anyone know why the online versions of turbotax has such a different, and in my opinion, cleaner user itnerface? Like I now only use the desktop/download versions cause theyre so much cheaper, but why does it look like its from 2001?

  • If you have a Fidelity account - on your home screen go to the bottom and see if you have a TurboTax offer. I had a Premiere online free offer or $5 premiere download offer. I used a Chase $10 offer and got the Premiere download for free.

  • freetaxusa.com, free fed, $15 for state, all forms etc. I really don't understand why people continue to be a sheep and use the major 3-4 names that have brainwashed people to thinking that's the only thing out there.

    • No one likes doing taxes so some probably feel comfortable with what they know. I think with TT you can import the data from previous return so that’s probably a plus.

  • FYI: "TurboTax Premier 2022 [Disc] + $10 Amazon Gift Card for $64.99" Not $64.99 but $92 with the gift card. Other places you can pick it up for $64.99 but this is no "deal."

  • If you opt to choose to use the online version, there is a chase offer for $10 back, or an Amex offer for $5 off $50. You can stack it with Rakuten, which is currently offering 7.5% back, and leads to similar pricing to Amazon/Costco (after accounting for the $10 credit offered by Costco/Amazon.

  • Genuinely curious. Why do people still use Turbotax when there are other absolutely free tax filing services like Cash App? I've been using them for the past few years (it was Credit Karma tax before) and had no issues at all. TurboTax seems to nickel and dime people by making them pay for even basic forms like 1099-DIV.
