Amazon has made an update to its card wallet and it now includes credit card names. This makes it a little bit easier to determine what card is what without needing to find the physical cards and look at the last four digits. It looks like this might be some sort of beta test as most accounts are not showing this yet.

Today I added a card, and when adding credit to my Amazon account it appeared as "USAA Visa" with the card image. Other cards with full names in this article's screenshot aren't labeled in my account. Under payment methods my USAA card still only shows the last four, no label.
Why not just let us nickname our cards ourselves? I find it annoying they don’t have that feature, or maybe I’m not searching hard enough.
Just use the browser plugin: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/credit-card-nicknames-for/iodihdkgnjbpkdimohmpgbcfoioebbnf
Simply a gimmick. Show last 5 digits on amex card!
I think showing 5 digits is not allowed, at least in some states?
Showing the last 5 digits is tricky whilst maintaining compliance with PCI DSS - that's a worldwide thing.
I don't have this in my account with 25+ cards loaded.
Ditto. I'd refer to my spreadsheet anyway.
Great, cuz i cant figure out what amex 100x card i want to use
Spoiler:
The new one with the MSR
Awesome! I wondered why they didn't have that feature all this time.
Actually, I don't see this feature available on my account when viewing my existing cards or when adding a new card. How are you getting the option to name the cards?
Might be a beta test
