American Express Business Platinum Cardholders To Lose Regus Platinum Office Benefit

American Express Business Platinum cardholders should see the following text on their February statements:

Effective May 1, 2015, the Business Platinum Card will no longer provide access to the Platinum Office Program benefits, which includes complimentary Regus Businessworld Gold membership and discounts on Regus services.

If you applied, or apply between January 1st, 2014 & April 30th, 2015 you will continue to receive this benefit until your card member anniversary date. This benefit was introduced in April, 2007. You can find more about this benefit, at the official benefit page.

It looks like Bank of America have won this partnership with Regus, as they now offer the same benefit on their Virgin Atlantic black credit card. It’ll be interesting to see if they decide to offer it on any of their other cards or not. AmEx recently announced that cardholders would have access to 10 GoGo inflight passes, but this new benefit is yet to go live.

I also recently received some exciting news about the American Express personal platinum card from an AmEx insider. I should be able to share this information in about two weeks time.

So… it’s been closer to two months than two weeks and the new Amex Plat benefit hasn’t been announced yet!
