Our Verdict
There is also an increased offer of 50,000 miles + $50 statement credit on the gold business card and in addition to that both of these offers are available on the personal versions of these cards as well. As far as I know this is the highest bonus on the business platinum card that has been offered, although it’s often available at this level as a targeted bonus.

It looks like the bonus is up to 90k skymiles plus the $100 statement credit now.
I applied for Platinum BIZ version and got approved. So, will buying $50 Delta GC trigger the $100 statement credit? Appreciate if anyone has any experience with this. I don't have any upcoming travel within the next 3 months, so trying to see how to trigger the $100 statement otherwise.
Anyone have any idea if this kind of offer comes yearly? I am debating between closing 2 of my older amex cards to get both delta platinums.
Can I get the bonus if I had this card in the past?
I'm not seeing a business option on the link above. Any other way to get it? I'm using chrome.

Can you apply for this card as well if your already a gold card holder??

Are ya sure? I have the Gold Biz and was on the phone with a rep yesterday and was told the Platinum would be an "upgrade" with a much smaller bonus (10 or 15k miles, can't remember) for $1000 spend. I would apply for this if it is considered a different product. Any data points?
You can upgrade, but that is a different thing. No hard pull is done and you keep account history.
Or you can apply as a separate card and get the full bonus. I'm 100% sure on this.

Signed up the personal version and got instantly approved. However, the card is going to be mailed by USPS notified by Amex, I was hoping to receive it sooner to take advantage of the free checked bag on the upcoming delta flight...
