American Express To Open Boston Logan Airport (BOS) Centurion Lounge

Boston Logan Airport (BOS) governing body voted to approve a two story American Express centurion lounge last Thursday. The Lounge will be 20,000 square feet over two stories and be located in C Gates at BOS.

The expected opening date is sometime in 2027, but I’d caution that I don’t think American Express has ever opened one of these lounges on time.

  • The priority pass lounge in terminal c is pretty small and always crowded, so a new large lounge will definitely help. Delta's lounge is decent, so it makes sense they wouldn't put it in terminal A.

  • Interesting choice. Delta flights are exclusively in terminal A which is disconnected from the rest of the terminals*. I guess this lounge is aimed at people who don't fly Delta.

    * with the exception of a certain Delta shuttle that sends some travellers to E

  • Just for reference, elevated building in very bottom right of aerial/satellite is where the sapphire lounge is. So location is slightly better for international flights out of E, slightly/moderately better but only by a few mins for jetblue flights out of C, a bit worse for United out of B, and a huge hike to AA in B.
