Amex Blue Cash $250 Signup Bonus!

The Offer

Direct Link

  • Signup for a new Amex Blue Cash Everyday credit card and receive a $250 signup bonus after spending $1,000 within 3 months.

Blue_Cash_Everyday®_from_American_Express

This card usually offers just $100 bonus. You can get this offer to show by going to the above link (or directly on the Amex website) in a non-cookied browsing session, such as incognito. If you are in your regular browser which you use for your Amex login, it won’t show.

The Fine Print

Our Verdict

Just a few moments ago we posted about a similar offer of 25,000 points for the Amex Everyday card; now it’s come to our attention that a similar offer is being made for the Blue Cash card. The Blue Cash offer requires just $1,000 in spend while the Everyday card requires $2,000 in spend.

Clearly, Amex is trying to target a certain customer base with these offers. In any case, it’s nice to see lots of high-bonus offers on credit cards.

What do you think about applying for both at the same time? Good plan? Bad plan?

Exactly what I’m wondering right now…

Nah forget it, one Amex credit card per day limit applies here.

DoC page on combined pulls states the 1 card per day isn’t hard coded/enforced. Don’t know how YMMV this is but in theory it seems we can apply for 2 cards and then call in and try to get approved for each card at a time that wasn’t automatically approved.

Just signed up for this card last week and don’t remember if it was for this award amount or different. Anyway to review what promo I signed up for?

physixfan

Hi, DoC!

Again, actually this deal is first published by me at https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/3k9ovd/blue_cash_everyday_bce_250_public_offer_incognito/

Please give me a credit too, thanks!

physixfan

Ahhh, ignore me, thanks for your credit!

physixfan

It seems that you don’t look at reddit, hmmm. Next time I will publish it on slickdeals, too.

Close and reopen the page again in incognito until you get it.

If I got a 100 bonus before will I get 250 bonus now?

I just received this card under the 10,000 point offer on 08/18. Is there a way to get Amex to honor the newest offer? I have not received the bonus yet under the original terms.

I was planning on getting the simply cash business card. My understanding is amex combines pulls (from the DoC page on combined pulls). I’ve never applied for more than one Amex cc in a day and I’m not sure if it makes a difference which card I apply for first? Any thoughts are welcomed!

Same here showing $150 in incognito. Clearly targeted…

I had the same situation for over 4 hours. The I decided to use VPN, and then opened the chrome incognito again, 25000 points offer on my first try after wasting 4 hours. So I guess Amex some how can detect the IPs. Just got approved. Thanks physixfan and op here. Hope VPN tip will work for you.

Just chatted online and asked to be matched, no luck here. He said he was general customer care and couldn’t match the offer. He gave me a number 800-528-4800 to call.

I generally don’t like to deal with customer service over the phone unless I had to, so I might just pass on that one. Please let me know if any of you has luck.

Damn was just going to take a break from applications for a while with a house purchase coming up in a few years….$250 cash for 1k in spend is very tempting though…decisions decisions!

I received a $150 bonus earlier in the year for the Blue Cash Preferred card. Am I eligible for this bonus as well?

William Charles

Yes, considered a separate product.

William are you sure it states:

“If you are identified as a current or former American Express® Card Member, this offer may not be available to you.”

Any data points on if Amex allows you to move credit from existing cards to get a new one?
