Our Verdict

There was a similar offer for Banana a couple of months ago which I got. This one I can’t find on my cards.

While this is only for Athleta specifically, you can easily buy $125 gift card in an Athleta store and lock in the discount for any Gap brand. The terms exclude ‘gift cards in bulk purchases‘ and ‘the options gift cards’. Regular gift card purchases at the normal POS should work, not sure why the Option gift card won’t work.

You can try reselling Gap gift cards as well, but it’s unlikely you’ll be able to even get a sale at 80% break-even, and even then it’s probably not worth the hassle just for the points.
