Bank of America is sending out notification that existing Alaska Visa Signature cardholders have been transitioned to the new Atmos Rewards system. The card will become the comparable Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature.

I currently have Business Mileage plan card open which I got approved more than 24mo ago. Do you think I will get the approved or SUB if I apply for the biz again? I tried going thru all comments from all diff posts, but no one has asked this. Thank you in advance.
only one way to find out I guess
When are Barclays and BofH Hawaiian Air cards going to be transitioned into Atmos cards?
On 08/20, I decided to apply for the new Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature Credit Card—even though I’m already a holder of the previous Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card. I’m a BOA Platinum Honors member and my application was approved instantly with a $15k CL. Interestingly, right after approval, both my old and new cards appeared as "Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card" in the BOA portal. As of today, 08/22, both have updated and now show as Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature Credit Card. I also see the $4k spending tracker on the new card, so I’m optimistic about receiving the new card’s 80K welcome bonus once I reach the spending threshold.
Are there any restrictions on combining Atmos and Hawaiian points? Thank you.
No and it'll be automatic October 1st
What about Barclays Hawaiian Airlines Card?
As with the AA/USAir merger (Barclays issued legacy USAir cards), it seems that the Hawaiian Airlines card will continue until the existing co-brand deal expires and then Bank of America will most likely buy the portfolio. Not 100% confirmed but that is the most probable outcome IMO.
Biggest question on this is if the "grandfathered" cards still don't have to spend $6,000 to get the companion fare?
My guess is they're still grandfathered, at least until I see somewhere that they're not.
Well I have a 6k spend tracker that suddenly appeared under my transitioned card, i.e. Alaska personal to Atmos, under 'bonus', so I think not
That would be a massive negative change and reason to cancel if not.
Following, I also have a "grandfathered" card with the annual companion pass.
Do we know if legacy Alaska Visa Signature holders will be eligible to receive the Atmo welcome bonus? Unfortunately recieved the Alaska card after the "free" companion cert perk was retired so very little strategic value to holding on to the card
@Neil Singh, I'm wondering the same thing. I was approved for the new Ascent card, but have the same Alaska airlines card. Hope we get the bonus.
