Our Verdict
Ebates regularly offers $25 for each person you refer $10 for the new member), but most other shopping portals offer bonuses more in the $5-10 range, so it’s nice to see this bump. Befrugal does make it harder to get the signup bonus and referral bonus since they require the new member earn $10/$25 (see above) in cash back from regular purchase activity before being eligible.

I don’t have a lot of experience with them because I only tried them once. It took me 18 months to get them to pay me the bonus they owed me. Involved the state AG of both NY (consumer frauds) & MA.
Based on my expsrience with them over that time I see the lying, cheating, stealing thieves assessment & raise an additional $cumbags.
Kalifa has had only good experiences with Befrugal.

Seriously, I don’t know what the deal that Debit has, but I must say that I’ve used BeFrugal A LOT with buying Visa debit gift cards through portal links, and never had a problem.
I ran into some issue with how one of my browsers was set up (I think it restricted cookies), so I contacted them and they applied a manual adjustment. So always do a test first before a real large purchase. They also will almost show immediately in your store visit section if they “linked” your recent portal visit and purchase, so even though it takes a bit to get paid, at least you know it “took”.
Just thought it was worth a counter mention that I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them, and they don’t seem to be too sensitive to buying several thousand gift cards per month once you go slow the first month you use them
