The Fine Print
- The free night voucher will expire 70 days after fulfillment
-  The free night voucher will be sent electronically to the Member’s email address (regardless of whether the Member has opted out of Best Western communications). Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks from completion of the eligible nights to receive the free night voucher.
Our Verdict
Bit disappointing that the free night certificate expires so quickly, but this is still a great deal if you need to stay at a Best Western. This is a deal that comes around somewhat frequently as well, it was lasted offered in February.
I got my mail with the voucher within the week of completing my stay.
It gets even sweeter if you can plan around this- “Use your free night voucher on your next stay of two or more nights and we’ll give you a $50 BW Gift Card”

Highly recommend calling if you don’t get the email, I never got an email after completing February’s promotion. They said they had issues with their system & issued me a new code to use for my night. Also, the nicest Best Western I’ve seen is in Vancouver, WA. It’s a Premier location which has an amazing breakfast and is brand new.
+1. Do not wait too long. If not arrived within a week call and insist they resend it. It will not come on its own at that point.
BW rewards are pretty buggy. We’ve not been debited for an award stay a while ago…
Does this work on reservations that already exist? Or does it need to be a new reservation?
As long as you register for the promo before your stay you should be ok… but have to register. The free night would need to be rebooked over the phone.
is the free night valid for outside us and canada? or is it like the 2 nights that can only be earned when paying for us or canada carribean based best westerns

i left something at a best western in rome and now that i flew back to ny they are telling me it will cost 240 dollars to ship? that is alot of money how cna i get them to do it for free? hilton did it for me when i left something in florence and called up the corporate number which created a case

get your own FedEx or DHL a/c and set up a pickup from the hotel. also suggest making a departure checklist if you are having persistent trubs with stuff left behind in foreign hotels.
