Last time I bought third party gift cards at BB I also earned Best Buy rewards points. The earn rate is not generous but still something extra even if small.
What's the limit?
Only one per order, but I was able to do it twice. That's all I really want for now, so I'm not going to try a third time.
Anyone know if you can somehow use the e-gift card for in-store purchases?
Edit – Answering my own question, it looks like you can... From their website:
1. Print out this Lowe’s eGift Card.
2. Make sure it includes the eGift Card number and PIN.
3. Give this print-out to your cashier.
I save mine to GPay (formerly Google Pay). Then when in the store, you just tap on the giftcard in Gpay and the cashier can scan the barcode, click details at bottom of screen and the pin will also come up.
Note, until recently lowes couldn't scan the barcode and would have to type the giftcard number in manually. However, seems like they have updated their systems because it has worked without an issue the last several times I've used it.
I generally hate e-giftcards because I feel I have to many and if I misplace one then all my savings are out the window. Being able to save to Gpay is great for me because I'll always have my phone with me.
I do it all the time. They can scan/type it directly from your phone screen if you prefer, no printing required.
You can actually add Lowes gift cards to Lowes wallet and they can scan the giftcard instore, I do this all the time , with no issues, it’s great and easy
Can you buy Amazon giftcard at Lowes with this Lowes giftcard?
Hard no.
Based on a bit of Googling, you can't use Lowe's gift cards to purchase third-party gift cards. I'm not sure if anything has changed since that info was posted, but it seems like it would be YMMV at best.
