  • The American Express Blue Cash Everyday is currently offering a sign up bonus of up to $450, broken down as follows:

Our Verdict

$450 is the best offer on this card. American Express are rotating what you earn 10% (or sometimes 5%) in for that extra $200. Previous offers have been as follows:

If you can max out the $2,000 spend in restaurants then this is a great deal and the highest it goes. I also like this offer more than say Amazon as there are fewer cards that earn at a high rate on restaurant purchases than Amazon purchases. If you won’t be able to max out the $2,000 in restaurant spend, then I’d recommend waiting for a different offer as American Express offers are once per lifetime.

Make sure you read through these things everybody should know about American Express before applying. There is also the same offer on the Blue Cash Preferred card as well.

Ack. I applied for the $100 + $200 and a day later I see a $150 + $200 offer. So has anyone got Amex to give them a sweeter offer after they applied?

How can I get this under my prequal? Prequal’d for 17.74% with Amex BCE for $250 but no 10% there.

When I clear all cookies and cache on another browser, I can sometimes get the 250+10% to show up under the card but not in the prequals. I’ve tried different browsers, incognito, not incognito, clearing all history/cache/cookies/etc., under my work VPN, on my mifi, on my phone, etc.

Does the card for authorized user get 10% back at restaurants also?

I think so, Amex usually counts AUs together with main card.

All spending should be collated and count, yes.

Is there any way to combine an incognito mode offer with a referral bonus for Amex cards?

You left out that the card gets 2% back on gas under the Card Details.

Nice offer! Too bad I already have card.

I can’t get the $250+10% offer. But on Chrome for mobile, I got an offer of $150 for $500 spend with 10% offer. I might take it due to the fact that I don’t see me paying 1K in 3 months on this one card. (Even if it was the preferred)

I can only get $150 on the Everyday, but I get the $250 on the Preferred and others have mentioned the same. I wonder if the $250 for BCE really worked for anyone this time.
