  • Is there anyway to find out exactly which properties are going to be the place to stay for the 3 nights? I'm looking at New Orleans and the Smokey Mountains.

  • Don't buy anything from Bluegreen!! We spent $2500 for a sampler package only to discover they lied about they way we could use their points. Shameful!!! Beware please.

      • Ok, So, you think you MAY want to check out Bluegreen owned properties so they offer you a SAMPLER package of points for $2500 you can use to book stays all over the US. That's why.

  • The timeshare sales people love it when you tell them you can buy the same timeshare for a few bucks on eBay that they are trying to sell it to you for $20K+ :)

    • 10000% agree, I asked the Hilton person last time why I would not just buy the timeshare secondhand for pennies on the dollars. There was something about perks but that was about it they would say was the difference

  • Do they try and lock you into a contract or something? Seems like a pretty good deal if not.

    • Yes, their goal is to destroy you financially in the WORST possible way. They are paying you for the opportunity to scam you.

      • Do you think a virtual card would get around it? I sat through a timeshare with my dad before when I was a kid, I don't mind politely saying no for a few hours, my worry is I pay for the $279 thing and then they hide some agreement when I pay for it that I have a contract and get me to owe thousands or something.

        • No, it is not like that. Sit through their presentation and politely, insistently say no when they pressure you to actually buy a timeshare.

  • Yeah, I saw that, I was a little surprised because I thought that partnership might have ended. Pre-pandemic, you could often stay at Bluegreen resorts for a very reasonable number of points. But, several years ago, they seemed to have zeroed out the Bluegreens for redemption -- even though they left them on the website (Choice has done this with some other partners, too). This is not a bad offer if you're the type of person willing to sit through timeshare presentations (I'd need a resort I'd really want to stay at and at least 100K points to consider it). But what I wonder is whether Bluegreens will now be available again for regular award redemption.

    • Agreed, a resort would be more bearable especially when traveling with small kids. Do you know which of the destinations on offer are at resort locations?
