Our Verdict
Standard sign up bonus is $250/25,000 points after $2,500 in spend and these cards have long been listed on our best cash sign up bonus pages, unfortunately it seems not all banks that issue these AmaZing business cards are offering the increased bonus. These cards do not report to your personal report, good for those trying to stay under 5/24. Obviously a great bonus, unfortunately we don’t know a lot about any of these banks so please share your experiences in the comments.

Post history:
- Update 11/10/19: They are all back to $1,000 apart from California which is $500. Hat tip to culdeus
- Update 2: Looks to be Utah, Idaho or Wyoming
- Update 9/25/19: It looks like Zion is offering a $1,000 bonus to everybody in AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, NM, TX, UT, or WY. Hat tip to churnandburn58
- Update 8/22/19: Arizona is back to a $1,000 bonus.
- Update 3/19/19: Some are offering a bonus of $500 again. This isn’t as good as the previous bonus of up to $1,000 they have offered in the past. Fine print says the offers expire on 6/33/2019, I assume they might mean 6/23/19 or 6/13/19?
- Update 09/23/18: Bonuses are back for 2018! Hat tip to reader BarryEgansPudding. Valid until November 30th, 2018
- Originally posted on 10/9/17, reposting on 10/31/17 because the bonus is also available at Vectra Bank in Colorado.
Amergy Bank back to $1,000 after spending $5,000. Applied for the cash card although maybe should have done rewards card since they do have a small annual boost based on spend. Business must be headquartered in Texas per app.
Update: application declined after calling to inquire re status, they will send letter in mail with details.
Stopped by branch close to work as haven’t received letter yet, apparently they need recent tax returns with schedule C to re process and denied
Just went to app for the Vectra Bank $1k for $5k spend card.
But the offer is down to 50,000 points (= $500) as of 2/9/24.
Not worth it. Hope the higher offers come back.
Vectra is back up to 100,000 points = $1k as of 3/3/24.
Denied for the CA version without even getting any notification.
Called in to try to do a manual review and couldn’t even reach the right department to deal with this.
The Vectra Bank Colorado page is now showing “100,000 points when you spend $5,000 in the first 120 days.”
So that would be $1,000 cash back right, not $1500?
I was approved as a sole proprietorship in early May. I don’t recall anything particularly onerous about the application process, though for weeks after approval a banker was calling to “see how your new card is treating you.” I just ignored the calls. Finished meeting the $5K minimum spend yesterday and paid off the outstanding balance.
Now, with a balance of $0, will I receive a $1,000 statement credit? Or will $1,000 be transferred to one of my checking/savings accts?
Did you ever get your bonus?
A few days after meeting the minimum spend, my cash-back rewards acct was credited with $1,000. I redeemed the rewards, and the next day my credit card acct showed a -$1000 balance. I sent a secure message asking Zions to transfer the $1,000 to my checking acct at US Bank, but they responded by saying that I would have to call and make that request over the phone.
Joe Bleaux Which of the banks was your application through? And is your sole prop registered with your state?
applied online through California Bank & Trust in June as Sole Prop. Received an email confirm immediately after i submitted the app. No communications after that. Received the card exactly 2 weeks after applying.
Applied for this card through California Bank & Trust, didn’t hear anything for about a week, called in and found out I was denied due to being “out of service area” and “unable to verify entity” (by which I guess they mean they think my business isn’t legit). I am in LA so definitely in their service area and I have a legit business backed up by business registration and Schedule Cs going back years. I took docs into the branch and they told me to call back in a couple days, but I didn’t get the impression they really cared much or were trying too hard to get the docs to the proper place. Two more phone calls over the next week and they could never confirm that they got the documents but did tell me my application still shows as denied. I give up. This was a waste of time and a credit pull.
Maybe they were just trying to find reasons not to give me the card because the bonus recently went down to $500 and I had applied when it was still $1k.
Applied as sole prop in the branch on 5/18 but was asked to provide schedule c on 5/24. Today 5/25 I got the call from the banker about the card approval.
I applied. What a waste of time, just a credit card, they want your tax return, schedule c and 3 month bank statement. It is totally not worth it.
Since I’m a sole prop w/SSN getting an approval might be a long shot. I decided to apply for US Bank Triple Cash yesterday and was approved for 13K.
Hmm, why are you commenting on this post and not the US bank post?
