Yesterday Capital One officially opened the flagship Capital One Lounge at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The lounge is located in Terminal 4 and is 13,500 square feet, unlike other lounges this one is open 24/7. It’s a shame that Capital One recently announced negative changes to lounge access for Venture X cardholders.

Checked it out at 1AM 3 weeks ago and had a sign that the lounge opened from 9am-9pm, so not open 24 hours. Was excited to try it out given the lack of lounges available for early morning flights, but disappointed when seeing this closed.
I hope C1 opens airport lounges in Boston and Tampa.
initially i was super impressed w/ 24/7 lounge. def unprecedented. but also, this wont last. how are they gonna deal w/ overnight campers? i guess security kick them out? pretty sure there will be max stay limits like 3hrs and other monitoring etc. something like this will def get abused. i dont know any USA domestic lounge open 24/7. only major international cities like EK. which makes sense given their traffic.

i fly AA UA. i fucking cant wait until JFK builds out airside DFW skylink. cant tell u how frustrating its been using a major port like JFK w/ no access to T4.
LAX could never LMAO
I think you mean ORD.
Why is everything (Amex, Chase, Cap1) in Terminal 4? Is that the only terminal with space?
JFK 4 has international Star Alliance and Star Team true flag + Delta. It's on par with Terminal 1 in terms of premium business traffic. International business class traffic is what matters for airlines and airport.
SkyTeam airlines is in Terminal 4. And JFK is mostly a Delta/SkyTeam hub.
United has EWR.
I fly out of Terminal 4 JFK so often I typically arrive to the airport when my flight announced boarding. Sure I am typically the second or last one to board, but I know my way around terminal 4 I can get to the gate blind folded (although I would run into tourists if I am blindfolded)
Probably just competition!
Lounges are annoying in big airports. Never at the terminal you need.
Does anyone know if you can access the C1 lounge on a limited basis like the Chase Sapphire lounges once a year with any Priority Pass membership? Or is it restricted to Venture X only.
Chase Sapphire lounge can access once a year and then $75 per person per visit. $100 day pass. C1VX personal and business. Remember that C1 recently changed guests and AU access to C1 lounges.

Venture X only
You can access Chase Sapphire lounges once a year with priority pass?
Yes, and the HKG sapphire lounge specifically is a normal priority pass lounge meaning you can visit unlimited times and even bring guests
