Our Verdict

I’m not sure which stores take Google Pay online, please share in the comments if there’s any popular/easy one to use this offer at. (Some suggest egifter.com.)

Just fyi:

I made a google pay purchase on eGifter.com, and didn’t receive $10 credit after that. However, after talking to Chase and showing them screenshots of google pay, they credited me $10. Not worth the time though.

4/16 – eGIfter purchase. eGifter indicates it was made via Google Pay but there’s nothing in my Chase account which suggests it was a Google Pay purchase

No statement credit so far, and I’m doubtful I’m getting it. Regardless, no loss on my end as I needed the gift card and it’s already been used up

Honestly a confusing promotion as Google Pay isn’t really a popular payment method online. Would’ve been better if it was Google Pay in store or something

Purchased a gift card using GPay from egifter on Mar 24. The credit never posted.
Contacted Chase, and they told me that the transaction was not made using Google Pay.
My egifter account shows that the purchase was made using Google Pay.

I just loaded $20 onto my Dunkin Donuts account and it looks like it counts as Google Pay. I got a notification from the GPay app, and the transaction is showing on my Chase card as “Dunkin Mobile GP” (I’m assuming the GP means Google Pay). So we’ll see what happens!

Eager to hear how it turns out for you! I might just do it in the next 2 weeks to see what happens.

Could Dunkin Donuts Reload in mobile app work? I saw that you can reload using the Google Pay option in the mobile app on android and there is a promo going on for Google Pay where you can get 35% back (https://www.doctorofcredit.com/google-pay-35-back-on-dunkin-donuts/). Wonder if it would be possible to stack those promos.

Cannot use it on ebay. Now I am on the hook for an auction purchase that is $10 over what I wanted to pay. Not to mention the $450 of opportunity cost of the time I have used to try to resolve the payment issue.

Is this confirmed or are you guessing it does not work on eBay transactions? I heard that it may take some time.

I received a $10 credit too but I also did the utility promotion. I’m note sure which it’s for now. My guess is not egifter.

Has anyone had any luck getting the offer? Seems like all the comments so far are complaining of issues.
