[YMMV] Chase Offers/BofA: 40% Back On Five Guys ($12 Maximum)

Update 8/21/19: Deal is back, this time 40% back up to $12(before it was 20% back up to $6). Hat tip to DDG

The Offer

  • Earn 25% back on you Five Guys purchase ($6 back maximum)
  • A number of banks use the same back end for these offers. This includes: Chase, Bank of America, Regions Bank, Suntrust Bank, BBVA, BB&T, PNC, Columbia Bank, Beneficial Bank, and Christian Community CU. You can read this post for more information. Now includes Chase as well.

The Fine Print

  • $5.00 back maximum.
  • Offer expires 9/16/2019.
  • Offer valid one time only.
  • Offer not valid on third-party purchases.

Our Verdict

I know a lot of people take advantage of free food at Five Guys when there is a Chase Pay offer for free food available, so hopefully some readers find this 20% off discount useful as well.

  • My offer for Five Guys on my Chase Freedom is 40% back with a $12 maximum. Given that the offers on Chase Pay have dried up, this is welcomed. Thank you for the tip.

  • I have the Chase Freedom, Bank of America Cash Rewards, BB&T Travel Rewards and a SunTrust bank account. I also have bank accounts at BofA, Chase and BB&T. I got nothing. There's a Five Guys in walking distance from my house too.: (

All I can seem to get are Olive Garden, Little Caesars and Starbucks offers.

    • With BofA I believe you can change your zip code for CC for offers (I use 30075) for wifes card. We have Family in GA. So she gets different offers, than in our 97202 zip

  • Thanks! I'm seeing 30% off:
"Earn 30% back on your Five Guys Burgers and Fries purchase, with a $9.00 back maximum."

  • Another CSR with no five guys offer. Despite my closest five guys not using Chase Pay, the one near my work does... Sucks I didn't get the offer lol

  • From month to month, I consistently ONLY get Five Guys CB offers from BoA and Chase.

Really missing that 15% back offer from Panera a few months back because all of Five Guys' menu items are swimming in peanut oil--even the vegetables.

    • Burger joints are notoriously greasy. I cannot even eat at Smashburger, anymore. They put more grease than chili in their chili. I take it that you're allergic to nuts?
