Our Verdict

None of these offers are particularly exciting, but it’s nice to see Chase adding new offers so soon after launching Chase Offers. You should be able to use the Home Chef offer with this deal. Fingers crossed that trend continues with better offers to come.

Any one tried, if this works on giftcards, especially in Lowes and Staples

doc. off topic, but lets do a rehash of “Online Credit Card Purchases – Transaction Date vs Post Date” post.

that topic is super relevant now as we head into dec. so many moving parts when talking about post vs swipe date. even time zone may be impacted since bank servers run on EST.

This reminds me when we went to Cheescake factory at the end of September, we were a group of 8 and i told them i will swipe my freedom card (that gives me 5% back on restaurants) and they will pay me back individually. The bill was over $300 so thats $15+ back.
Problem was the transaction was in September but it posted a day or two later on Oct 1st and i only got $3+ back. Grrrr.

Send Chase a secure message explaining that the charge was made in September during the bonus period. You should be able to get the bonus points.

Looks like you could stack the Home Chef offer with the $30 discount and the 2000 Swagbucks offers as Chuck wrote about here:

Nice. Chase really wants us to use these sock drawer cards.
