The Fine Print
- Each of the 3 payments must be $20 or higher
- Must send the 3 payments within 60 days of enrollment in the offer
- Must enroll in Chase QP with Zelle and must enroll in this offer by 4/30/18
- Payments sent using the Zelle® app do not qualify
- Only payments sent count, not payments received through Chase QuickPay
- You can send the payments to someone else with a Chase QuickPay account or to someone with any other bank account
- After you have completed all the above requirements, we’ll deposit the bonus in your account within 10 business days
- One bonus per customer per calendar year
- Bonus is considered miscellaneous income, and may be reportable to you and the IRS on Form 1099-MISC or Form 1042-S, if applicable
Our Verdict
Easy $10, check the Enroll Now and see if it works for you – seems to be targeted. I doubt they’ll actually send a 1099 Misc for this since it’s under $600, though technically you’re supposed to report it anyway.

I clicked the $5 link sent by chase, then click above $5 link. Both works. Then I pay 6 times, and got 2 x $5.

Regarding the 1099 Chase sent me one for the $300 checking bonus.
1099 INT and 1099 MISC are different.
Yeah, that's a 1099INT. For 1099Misc, my guess is they won't actually send it for $10 (unless you accumulate other bonuses, like maybe some sort of cash referral bonus, which puts you over $600).

If you're targeted for a Zelle offer, it looks like the offer appears underneath your checking account when you log into Chase.com (under the "Statements", "Paperless", and "Transfer money" gray buttons). My mom was targeted with a $5 offer, and a banner appears right under those buttons each time she logs in.
XenaWP, thank you for the helpful directions. I would have missed this promotion otherwise as when I clicked on DOC's link, I got the "coupon code needed" message. Just a FYI, I received a $10 offer.
