Chipotle has launched a new rewards program exclusively for college students called ‘Chipotle U‘. Benefits of the program are as follows:
- 1,000 points for joining
- Increased earn rate (12x points per $1 spent instead of 10x)
- Free food drops
They have also partnered with Urban Outfitters for Chipotle branded products. Honestly this seems kind of lame, but free points are free points and hopefully the free food drops are frequent. Chipotle IQ test (answers here) is also still ongoing.

I'm old enough to remember when they used to give you a free drink with student ID! However, I'm back in grad school and was able to use this and combine it with my existing account.
Imagine being a college student who knows that DoC exists.
I can attest, it's pretty great! Going through college 100% debt free. In my senior year.
Entering my second year of under grad. Chipotle is expensive, I stopped eating it entirely.
Getting 1000 points, which is not even enough for a kid's meal, requires verifying your student status through ID.me.
You would think for all that you'd get at least enough for one entree.
And I would do it again.
Uses ID.me which is like the one provider that’s actually good at validating university students versus just YOLOing edu addresses
right when i graduate gg
Is this available for existing users, as in have my current account merged to Chipotle U?
Yes it worked for me
