The Offer
- Citi is currently offering a 1:1 transfer rate to accor
Our Verdict
Normally you can transfer 1,000 Citi ThankYou points and receive 500 Accor points. This isn’t being advertised as a transfer bonus so not sure what is going on. Wouldn’t be surprised if transfers get reversed but the landing page is clear that it’s a 1:1 rate. Accor has a revenue based program where 2,000 points = €40 off the booking price. Can’t see this lasting long

@2 Definitely dead as of roughly one hour ago. The Citi TYP website now shows the old 1:0.5 rate (1000 TYP = 500 Accor).
Was looking through the ALL transfer partners and it lists Juneyao Air at 200 Juneyao Air Club Points = 800 Reward points, never even heard of it. But looks like might be able to credit united and air canada flights to it, having a hard to figuring out what the reward point earn rate would be though
Enjoy this way of thinking very much.
I keep getting "Due to a technical error, we couldn't complete your Point Transfer. Please try again later." Anyone know how to resolve this?
I transferred 50k and it is in my ALL Accor account already at the stated 1:1.
Remember these expire in 12 months without qualifying activity. I recently lost 120k lifemiles for my stupidity.
I didn't do that much research. Qualifying activity I'm guessing does not include new transfers? Is there a shopping portal we can use or do we have to have stays?
Point transfers count as qualifying activity.
Dead?? keeps getting error when transferring.
Worked 2nd time for me when i turned off VPN + checked box save accor # to Citi profile when executing the transfer
Seems like truly dead now. Couldn’t get it to work late last night and now missed it. I was anyways gonna do speculative transfer with no real plans in mind.
How come i dont see accor as a transfer partner?
Looks like you need Strata Premier or Premier or Prestige to see it. Strata no-AF can see a few no Accor. Custom cash sees nothing but SYW.
Created an Accor account and am in for 50k. I gotta admit I enjoy the sweat on these
Dead? getting errors
I hope there is no clawback. This was a no brainer.
I suspect, someone at Citi mistakenly reset the ratio to 1:1 after the 1:0.75 promotion ended on Jul 19th.
