Our Verdict

Most DG only accept cash for gift card purchases, but 20% off Chipotle is still a fantastic deal and I suspect that will sell out quickly.

  • For those who's looking for multi-pack GC, don't waste ur time. They have very few multi-pack GC available. I've never been able to find any multi-pack Chiptole GC in 3 stores in my area. also met two ladies who have checked 3 stores for playstation GC and none of them has it.

    • Were you able to buy the $20-$200 gift card or was it a multi-pack?

      Mine did not have any multi-packs so the cashier sold me a $200 one at 20% off.

  • Went to 2 Dollar General stores looking for the Dominos GCs that are on sale for 20% OFF. Neither one had the 3-pack (3 $10GC in each pack) that's on sale. They only had the individual Dominos GCs and those are not on sale. Wasted a trip.

    • nope different companies. dollar tree is/was notable for being the last one actually sticking with $1 (they are now upping many prices due to the inflation of the last year).

      fyi dollar general owns family dollar, but again different store different promotions.
