Our Verdict

These deals come around semi frequently, some people have issues with the bonus points actually posting.

  • I get these offers occasionally - haven't used the card much in the last couple of years and the latest offer is one I'll actually make an effort to use: unlimited 3% after spending $400, valid August 1 - September 30.

  • Got another one of these in the mail and via email, this time offering 50% more points on purchases after spending $800, valid June 1-July 30, 2021.

  • I got an offer for 2% statement credit on home improvement purchases.

"Earn up to $25 in statement credits when you use your Fidelity® Rewards Visa Signature® Card on purchases at Home Improvement and Lawn & Garden stores. There’s no better time to bring your dream home projects to life.

Home Improvement and Lawn & Garden Stores

Earn a 2% statement credit per dollar spent, up to $25, when you get your spring projects rolling."

  • Reading the comments below, I think people are misreading this offer. Per the email I received, the bonus is up to 2,000 "bonus points" not $. So if you get an extra 3 bonus points per 1$ (for a total of 5), I think that means that this offer is only valuable up to $666.67 of spend (2,000/3) NOT $2,000 as people are reporting below.

Or am I misunderstanding the fine print? If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know.

    TYIA.

    • You are correct. The bonus is an extra 3% on $666.67 for a total bonus of $20 after meeting the spend requirement.

  • I met the requirement and the max bonus spend with one transaction. Does anybody know if that will work or do I have to meet the requirement first and then get the bonus points on transactions after that?

  • I am not sure why the hell I have stopped receiving these offers. I could have sworn I haven't received these targeted offers for at least 1 - 1.5 years.

  • I got a pretty good one this time, too, just like back in December. Spend $50, get 5% after that, up to $20.

  • Nothing.
    But I can't complain.
Chase AARP has 5% for gas, grocery, drugstores through March 31.
The CVS around me allows credit card purchases of VISA gift cards and they sell $500 variable load VISA gift cards.
This is on top of the Chase Freedom Flex and Chase Freedom 5% rewards at wholesale clubs.
Sam's Club sells $500 Amex gift cards for $4.94
No $500 VISA or Mastercard gift cards though.
