Our Verdict

Flying Blue moved to a more complicated award chart last month.  You can transfer points into the Flying Blue program from:

  • Chase Ultimate Rewards
  • American Express Membership Rewards
  • Barclays Arrival Premier
  • SPG Points
  • Citi ThankYou Points
  • Diners Club

Flights drop to 10,750 one way to Europe with this promo, good deal in that respect but the issue is the taxes & fees charged ($230+ round trip).

  • Don't forget to add Barclays Arrival Premier miles to the transfer partner list!

  • In the unlikely event you can find space on Delta, there should be no fuel surcharge.

    • 1. Promo awards only work for AF/KLM flights
      2. Award rates for Delta flights are significantly higher than AF/KLM flights under the new system. I haven't found any business award on delta to Europe for less than 71000 miles while you can find award space for 53000
