  • I signed up for this card and got my first month of spending posted. The points I earned are only applied as Slot Dollars and not comp points to my MGM rewards account. I was surprised to see that, figured I could use the points to buy food/drinks, did I miss something?

  • i got an offer to upgrade from the regular version. no points but the 1st year annual fee waived. i had to click on the link througgh the email received.

  • For those that have the regular version of this card. Does FNBO ever have offers for accelerated tier earnings or random bonus categories beyond the Base multipliers that already exist on the card. Sometimes on Citibank or American Express I get offers for additional reward points in certain categories. I've never had an FNBO card but we run a lot of spend through our cards and when I'm not able to get sign up bonuses for whatever reason try to maximize my reward categories and I'm just curious if there are ever bonus categories where you can concentrate spend in a given window.

    • The best I have gotten has been really useless -- for example, 3x for streaming services for a few months up to $250. It's always useless categories with a low limit. And even those useless offers are only a couple of times per year. The card has basically been sock-drawered for me ever since I signed up for it a few years ago.

  • Is it possible to redeem points for cash back or statement credit or only for hotels / dining / entertainment at MGM resorts?

  • I’ll be honest the limited edition medal card nearly got me to sign up. I’m kicking myself still for not getting the Delta reserve card when it was limited edition.

  • The real value in the card might be the 1x points and teir credits on BetMGM deposits. Potentially the eaisiest way to get high teir status without having to gamble 1m. Normally sports betting gets you 1 teir credit per $5 spent, nornally 1m of playthrough for top teir status.

This brings it down to 200k.

Assuming they dont charge a cash advance fee, which who knows.

Also to all those who think they are gaming the system by depositing and imediatly withdrawling funds, sportbooks/casinos will almost always process that as a refund to your initial transaction, you typically need to play through the funds if you dont want your withdrawl to be treated as a refund to card.

    • BetMGM Deposits aren't treated as cash advances on the no fee credit card, assume it'd be the same for the Iconic card.

  • Thanks for clarifying the details on resort credit. Does priority pass include 2 guests and restaurant access?

    • Nah, if you are a low roller get the MGM Rewards card with no annual fee and Perl status (with parking privileges).
