Our Verdict
Most of us have already used one of these Discover shop-with-points offers; if you haven’t, jump on this one as $15 is the best we see (it’s usually $10).
There’s plenty of time to take advantage of this offer – until year’s end, and if you can’t think of anything to buy you can always buy a third-party gift card sold on Amazon.

The damn Discover promo has never worked for me.
This is two months old. scroll up to the link with my name on it dated March 25, 2016 at 11:02 am.
That link will show the specific order to do the different steps to success if it is still active.
It does not work
No targeted email received. I had a couple of failures. But on the third attempt, it went thru.
Fat wallet reports success steps that worked for the person posting
This deal is targeted for specific email addresses according to Amazon customer service- they would not honor it for me (I have Prime).
This is the first of such type of offers limited to Prime members only, correct?
Fat Wallet reports mixed results.
There was a similar promotion using the Chase Freedom card last quarter
I just saw a report on Fatwallet that the similar $10.00 Amazon credit for Chase Freedom cardholders using Pay by Points promotion was still alive for FIRST TIME Pay by Points by Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Would multiple Discover cards on one prime account work?
I tried to do this last time a promo came out and I can't seem to get it to work. My card is enrolled and points balance shows, but it indicates a $0 balance. Anyone run into this?
the discover debit card doesnt seem to work for this.
