Our Verdict

Not sure the last time I read a magazine, but free is free I guess.

  • Most of these magazines are mostly all advertisements, and the articles are pretty thin stuff from 'content farms' not staff writers/editors. They're just trying to get names/addresses to use for direct marketing. Print media that is sent to you unpaid is rarely of any real value. Not even if you have a waiting room at your place of employment....

  • You have to stop and join some survey program and then compete a long survey before you can complete the magazine order. Ain't worth it.

    • Well, their system wouldn't let me proceed when I refused to enter a credit card, but then 20 minutes later I got email confirmation that I got the free subscriptions. Whatever.

    • Not if you select just the one magazine and don't add the others. It's only with the addition of magazines that the survey is forced on you.

  • Free is Free - but this feels more like I'm getting something that goes straight into the garbage bin anyway.
    Pass for me... :)

  • Free is Free ----its a bit tricky...they offer you 6 more magz for discount, but you can can X out of that screen, and get the free one.
