The Offer
No direct link – check the Rent Day tab in your Bilt app
- Link your Lyft account with the Bilt rent app (free to signup) and you can get the following offer:
- Anyone with the free Bilt app can get a $10 Lyft credit.
- Bilt Mastercard credit cardholders can get $20 Lyft credit.
- Take a ride on July 1st to receive an additional $5 credit. That’s $15 total for anyone or $25 total for Bilt cardholders.
After linking accounts, you must select ‘Activate Credits’ in the Rent Day tab. Activation will become available on June 27, 2023 and continue through July 1, 2023.
The Fine Print
- The Lyft ride credit ($10/$20) will show under ‘Lyft Pass’ in the Payment section of the Lyft app.
- Credits can take up to 72 hours to show up and will be valid for 90 days.
Our Verdict
Should be an easy $10/$20 credit. Usually the Bilt Rent Day promos are on the first of the month only; this time it’s available beginning on June 27th.
Lyft is one of a few Bilt partners.

Data point for CitiBike users: it looks like the Lyft credit can be used for CitiBike rides. Mine was just used automatically when I took out an ebike today.
How can I change my phone # in Bilt? It doesn't seem possible but they use that number to link to Lyft.
The T&C say the Lyft credits expire in 90 days
Can you schedule a ride before 1st for later date to quaiify for the $5?
Lyft states: "By tapping accept, you agree to give Bilt Rewards permission to get notified in real time about the rides you take, whether through the lyft app or other apps, including location and route."
Not sure that's worth $10/$20 to me.
I knew there must be a catch! Is Bilt just a giant data harvester?
Impressed with how Bilt has been able to offer so much to its members, even for those who don't have the card

The offer was on my homepage. I was able to activate it and the credit was in my Lyft account within minutes.
Silly question, but I cannot find “Rent day” tab anywhere in the app. What section is it in?

It's the tabs at the top. "Rewards" tab at the bottom - "Rent Day" at the top
It should be on the home page when you open the app
