Our Verdict
Anything that discourages drunk driving is a real positive in my books. I imagine that the actual packets of ‘party safe’ chips are really nothing more than a marketing gimmick, but these are the types of marketing gimmicks I can appreciate.

So a warning.. I entered one of these codes and got a promo in my app that said "Get $10 off your next ride!" with an expiration of Feb 6. I did an UberX ride today and the promo did not attach, so I'm thinking maybe it only is active starting Feb 5 despite no language indicating this in the promo card in the app... YMMV though..

Beware - I had one of the promos activated that says “Get $10 off your first ride!” with no other stipulations and yet it did not attach to an UberX ride that I just took. Perhaps it really does only work on Feb 5 despite the language. YMMV though.

@Magoo How did you already enter the code? The promo says:
"The promotional code for $10 off an Uber ride will be available only on the day of the Big Game, in the continental U.S. and Hawaii while supplies and quantities last."
Also, yes I've already entered the code and it went through. Anyone can enter the code now.
Where does it say that? Certainly not on the Uber app. The Uber app tells me I get $10 off my next ride and that it expires Feb 6th. Haven't tried using it though.

I'm not sure. All it says is "Get $10 off your first ride!" with the expiration date as Feb 6th. That would make me think you don't have to necessarily use it on the 5th.
