My Stop & Shop didn't have the $10 off deal. It's not in the flyer or online, and customer service wasn't aware of the offer. They said maybe it was just Giant or Martin’s.
I got a $5 off $15 grocery e-coupon this week. So combined with this offer I should hopefully be able to get $15 of free groceries when I buy $50 of Happy cards.
Nice
No such offer at my local store, but there is a $5 off groceries with $25 IHOP g/c
Which one's are easier to liquidate?
Lady, Student, and Bride are good at Bed Bath and Beyond. Bride is good at JC Penney. Guy is good at Home Depot. All of these sell a variety of gift cards. Check your local stores to see what they have.
Some stores blocked gift card purchase with the gift card payment.
The cards ring up as credit cards, so as long as you don't go over the value of the Happy card, the payment should go through. The only instances I have heard of where the transaction has been blocked has been by the cashier or manager not wanting to allow the swipe because it looks like a gift card. Have you heard of actual payments getting declined? If so, probably does vary by store as you mentioned
S&S site crashed :) IT dept on strike also?
Whether these happy gift cards can be used as VISA or MasterCard Gift Cards?
Here only has Stop&Shop stroes, I remember Stop&Shop blocked the VISA or MasterCard Gift Cards purchase with the credit card payment.
This week's S&S ad clearly says that they now take credit cards for the purchase of Visa, Mastercard and AMEX gift cards. I bought a $500 Visa gift card today and had to go to customer service to buy it. The woman there tried to tell me that they do not take credit cards for gift cards. I told her that's not what the ad says and she said OK.
S&S didn’t allow credit card payments for some gift cards a while ago, but that’s no longer the case.
Should be obvious to most but in case it's not, you need to load the e-coupon to your card first, and it's a single use per card.
You also have to buy $10 worth of groceries when you buy the gift card.
Right, and after coupons. So you have to pay at least the $50 for the gift card.
