Our Verdict
Same as the similar deal earlier in the year. Fee is $5.95 and maximum is $250 per card. Basically purchase $750 in gift cards for $692.85. You can go through a portal for another 1% or 4x Alaska miles currently. I’d recommend buying sooner rather than later.

I thought that I was on to something and that I could buy the vgc for a 5% discount and then liquidate it by buying another at another 5% discount. The site doesn't recognize it as a valid dc or gc.
All my cashback through TCB from this round got declined/clawed back. Anybody else have this issue? My July 4 orders payed out with no problem.
which other sites or online stores can we use this virtual visa?? i tried bestbuy.com and no luck.. maybe i need to leave some money free on-hold? but i am able to drain everything on utilities charges

@guest_1276595 I contacted citi today through chat and the rep said that the purchase isn't eligible because the offer is for in-store only. I said did you notice the name of the merchant and that they have no physical stores. The rep continued to reference the offer as in-store only so I asked to file a complaint and have it reviewed because it's false advertising. it's not possible to do this offer in-store as the merchant doesn't have physical locations they are online only. Maybe if enough of us complain they will apply the credit.

I'm not Kelly, but after 2 statements without getting this credit, I chatted with Citi and they gave me a courtesy credit for roughly the same amount.

But your merchant offer page still shows the Giftcards.com offer is there, right? If that's the case, I don't have confidence.

Yes, and it also says "when you shop online" and "not valid for gift card purchases". My point is that those generic terms probably won't really apply, and the rep probably doesn't know whether you're getting the the bonus.

@guest_1275085 The limit is $750 per transaction, $2000 per 24 hours per billing address. People were able to go over $2000 by changing around their billing address (adding an apartment number, for example).

So just keep the 3 GC's stored in cart with promocode applied, and duplicate the tab every time to place the order. So far works.
Worked for a while but I didn't hit it very hard. Now they seem to have zeroed out my cart (or there was a time limit on it) so I'm done.
