Our Verdict
Great value on really old iPads. I’ve been wanting to get this Pixel tablet for awhile but thought the price was ridiculous, this might be enough to get me to bite. You also get 10% back with 2gb or more google one subscription.

Updated trade-in value between last night and today. iPad 6th gen went from $399 to $75 overnight... 7th gen is still $399

Dang. It makes sense though. iPad 6th gen is unusable and even Apple gives you $75 for it.
got one by trading in an ipad 7th gen that I won at at even at work. I have an 8th gen one, so good to mix it up or maybe sell it

Recommend chatting with Google Support to clarify which iPad your device qualifies as. I'm certain I have the iPad Pro 2nd gen but they were adamant it was a Pro 1st gen. Doesn't really matter because they're both $399 trade in, but good to figure it out now.
200 for an ipad 6th gen with broken screen...not bad
How picky are they on their trade-ins/realistically getting max trade-in value? You can buy a restored one for $100 and then a Pixel tablet is essentially $100?
I'm about to find out. I ordered both a refurb iPad 6 and the Pixel tablet.
Good tablet if you can put up with the flaws of a first gen google product. My favorite bit is the unlocked bootloader so you can install a custom ROM like GrapheneOS. Made it an easy decision to switch from Samsung, who might have better hardware, but has awful locked down software.
