  • Was disappointed that I missed the $12 from TopCashback on 11/27, and was hoping they'd bring it back since I also have the 1,000 rewards points for 2 streaming service payments offer on my Elan card that I could use. I was checking daily since then, and it was back to $2, even this morning. However, I just checked now one last time, and it's back to $12 until midnight Pacific time. Although, it looks like there are some reports of it not tracking, so we'll see if it works...

    • Didn't track yet, and I doubt it will since the folks who had successful tracking said it was within a few hours. I'm done with TCB. I used to have nearly 100% tracking success, but lately, it's more fails than success. The only thing it's good for is the gift cards that TCB itself offers.

I started with a clean profile in Chrome (so no previous history, cookies, plugins, etc.), logged into TCB, searched for Hulu, and clicked the offer specifically for the Black Friday deal. It looks like that's where things went wrong. I saw a page where I had to select the $0.99 Hulu offer or the $2.99 bundle, but looking further back in this post, other folks were getting only the $0.99 offer. Looking at my browser history, I can see that I was first sent to a ".../redirect" URL on the TCB site, and the next entry shows that I was sent to a Hulu starting page for affiliates, but the "utm_source" parameter is set to "Rakuten". Huh? Why did TopCashback send me to a page that's apparently for clicks from Rakuten? This also explains why creating a ticket often results in the "not last referred click" denial.

  • I was annoyed by the excessive ads and was about to cancel, but then I found a chrome extension "Hulu Ad Skipper” which could not block the ads but could skip them in like 2 seconds.
The TCB was still not tracking though.

  • Can you do both Disney+ and Starz with Hulu or does it have to one or the other? I signed up for Hulu with Disney+ for $2.99, but can't figure out how to add Starz for an additional .99.

    • I was able to get Hulu & Disney+ bundle for $2.99 and Starz for additional $0.99. Once you sign up, go to your Account page and click "Manage Plan". Scroll down until you see Starz add-on.

  • I don't even stream other than anime. I tried watching an episode and the ads were ridiculous. Probably 2 mins of ads before starting, and another set after the usual episode recap. Wasted 5 mins before the episode began. Back to Brave + anime website.

  • "Log in to Hulu with your MyDisney account. If you don't have one, you will be prompted to create one." I do not have a MyDisney account, but after entering in my email, it did not prompt me to create one. Is anyone else having this issue?

    • I had the same issue. I am thinking that I must have had a MyDisney account at one time. I tried it in incognito mode and was able to create a new account.

  • Went through TopCashBack for this. I got Hulu and paid 0.99. As it took me through the account setup, I added Starz (also 0.99/m for 12 months). YMMV, but TCB is now showing they tracked separately for $12 x 2 back.
