Our Verdict
This is one of the few hotel promotions that actually has the ability to change where I book my hotels. Unfortunately my offer sucks as always so I won’t be making any changes to upcoming bookings I have. Let me know what offers you get in the comments below.

Although one might be tempted to go for five nights, I would probably do one points and cash night and one night in the major market (I qualify for government rate in California so could get a room in the LA market for $120 or less should I book ahead, basically using it as a get away or as an airport hotel the night before a flight). 33,000 points for two one-night stays. Not bad!

does cash and points count as a "qualifying stay"?
It never has.
Can anyone else confirm this? The terms are pretty generic and I had thought seeing somewhere that this would count.
Ok, confirmed that point+cash do not count as a stay. too bad
Not the worst offer I've had, but not super great either. I can get say 10000 with a single stay using my card so I might do that at least.

So, if I make one Points & Cash stay and use my IHG card, looks like I'll get 33,000 points. And I just bought 40,000 points at $0.0054 each this week!
