Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Looks like this account has a $1.5 monthly fee with eStatements or $2.5 with paper statements.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not
Our Verdict
Need to know whether it’s a hard or soft pull to open. Probably best to just do the straight $150 deal, as the other items are worth $150 or less really. If anybody goes for this bonus then please share your experiences in the comments below.

With our credit reports frozen, my wife and I signed up today in branch for the Value Checking accounts to get the $150 bonus for each of us.
There is no monthly fee with eStatements. (The $1.50 fee is for statement check images)
I plan on stopping in a branch and doing this offer too. Anything I need to bring other than an ID?
Driver’s license and a check to make the initial deposit.
Awesome. Thanks for the info. Did you bring in a printout of the promo or are they aware of it and you just have to mention it?
They are aware of it and I just mentioned it. I noticed there was a brochure of it on the desk in their office advertising it.
How far is your nearest branch from your home address?
