Our Verdict
As always make sure you price compare with other online travel agencies/booking sites to ensure you’re getting a good deal. This probably isn’t a good deal for most people as standard rooms don’t count for the promotion, still worth price comparing if you’re going to an InterContinental anytime soon. Should also work with the Citi Prestige and the fourth night free benefit. Make sure you’re signed up to the Q1 accelerate promotion as well if you’re not already.

This is a deceptive offer and not really a third night free offer. If it was, the savings would actually be 33%. Instead, the nightly price for this offer is much higher than the normal rate, so your actual savings is only around 15%. IHG is notorious for trying to trick people using this deceptive promotion every year. If they were honest, they would just have a 15% off our lowest rates promotion. Too bad they can’t be trusted to be honest.
Agree with that, they charge standard rate which can be cancelled with no phone, but the T&C for this is actually non refundable yet so it’s kinda like a false advertising about the 3rd night free since they use standard rate for non refundable package
By the way Best Western also has a similler offer. Book two stays and get a free night.

Wonder how would it work with IHG premier card 4th night free? Book 2, get 2 free (seems optimistic), or book 3, get 2 free?
Isn’t the 4th night free for Premier card just for award nights?
How would this work exactly, with the Citi 4th night free? Not sure how that would work?
If you call concierge, they will call the hotel directly and book under that promotion, it’s called “extend a night on us” rate
