  • Kroger power user here but I can’t justify Boost as I get plenty of fuel points on Fridays & from GCs with their 4x coupons. If anyone finds value in it I’d love to get your perspective.

    • It's clear from the fine print that Boost's 2x multiplier is not applicable to gift cards.

      But less clear is, whether the 2x applies to groceries on 4x Fridays (yielding 8x). I take it from your comment that you've verified that those multipliers don't stack?

    • I get essential free through the us bank Kroger card- it’s just ok, you can’t stack the free streaming (like get free Hulu through boost then pay to add hbo or Disney or whatever) which is unlike Walmart plus (you can pay to add showtime onto the free paramount). The points offers fine print usually show an increased rate for boost members (like if it’s a 2x points day, boost members get 3x points). If it wasn’t already free from the card I wouldn’t bother with it.

    • why? I too am a power Kroger gc buyer, luv the fuel points program (in Richmond, VA), like shopping in stores (to catch the markdowns, able to see what I'm getting from produce)..... How exactly is "boost" fab anything? (other than you feel the need to tip the delivery folks -- if it covers your address) What are we missing? boost doesn't boost gc promos does it?

  • I finished my first year of boost essential recently, I have never seen boost exclusive offers. If they would have removed the minimum cart value for pickups, that would be great. Otherwise, I already cancelled my renewal.

    • You have to check for them in the app like once a week by searching Boost on the coupons page. I get them all the time

  • Most Chase cards have a Chase Offer of "Earn 5% cash back on your first payment of a Kroger Boost membership, with a $5.00 cash back maximum."
