  • Ah the best was when McD had the dollar menu and both cheeseburgers and the McChicken were $1/each. I would eat 2 cheeseburgers and 2 McChickens every day for lunch, and if anything I felt much better than I've ever felt in my life. Don't believe that movie "Supersize Me".. that guy was was already severely ill when he started making that movie.

    • McDonald's used to have side salads for a $1 too. McChicken, McDouble, and side salad was a (relatively) healthy, cheap, and balanced meal.

  • Free McDiabetes. Make your own Chicken burger at home. healthier, cheaper, tastier!

  • Pro tip - how to mcds app rewards douple dip:
Place order for pick up using reward
    Wait 15 mins
Say you’re there (or actually be there), order will process
You can instantly place another order using another reward
Requires some planning on the 15 mins but that’s one way I’ve found to maximize rewards

    • Incorrect. The cooldown period between reward redemptions is only 8 minutes.

    • I noticed the "15 minute rule" yesterday when getting my free McChicken. I recall in the early days of the app you could immediately use another offer, but then they changed it to an hour. I guess they recently reduced it to 15 minutes? Does that start when you initiate your order (which you could do before you arrive), or when you say "I'm here" and the order is actually processed? It would obviously be easier to double-dip if the former applies. I assume, though, that you can't reuse the same reward -- like you couldn't get 2 free McChickens on the same day, and you'd have to pick a different offer.

    • I thought I was so genius figuring this out by myself. I guess it's not that hard to discover 🤣

  • McChicken only taste good if they're made fresh. which is a gamble at 50% of the time

    • You mean you want McD to slaughter a fresh live chicken for you, which is also a gamble

    • use the tried-and-true "Fresh McD's Method" of customizing your order, necessitating a fresh preparation

  • Is this compensation for Burger King being complete dicks and pulling the $10 compensation coupon?
