Our Verdict
This is a fairly standard deal. You can buy a single $500 card and get ten $5 credits loaded to your account. Keep in mind most Meijer’s code as a grocery store, so make sure you use a credit card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

I noticed digital service type cards like Hulu, Google Play, etc. came off the exclusions.
Was hoping they’d come back with $10 reward for Black Friday :(
BF is two weeks away (despite what all the retailers would have you believe) so it's very possible they'll have a BF deal too
10% isn't very exciting tbh considering you can get many restaurant cards for 15%+ off via sites like Raise which is basically breakeven or better after factoring in CC rewards. And I don't have to leave the house.
Sounds like you're a little confused why this is a good deal. This deal isn't exciting because of restaurant card discounts, it's because of all the non-restaurant cards.
Current Raise gift card discounts: Target 2%, Lowes 4.6%, Home Depot 2%, Dicks 2%, Doordash 5%, Uber 2%, Kohls 5%, Best Buy 0 discount, Staples 3%, etc etc
ALL of those cards above are essentially 10% off at Meijer with this deal, plus you'll earn 4x with the Amex gold card. Assuming a conservative 1.1cpp valuation for MR points, you're getting minimum 14.4% discount on all those cards.
Ebay is another good one that I tend to snag from these Meijer deals.

Meh, $50 off groceries isn't too bad if you buy $500 in gift card(s) without fees. Not as good as that last deal of course

if you have your receipt, meijer is GREAT about issuing missing rewards--PLUS these are better because they will not expire as soon.
It looks Meijer does not allow multiple accounts. I created a second account. Then found that the first account was deleted. There are still $20 rewards in the first account, which is lost. Lesson learned. Do not keep any rewards in the account, Use it up asap. Meijer can remove your account anytime.
How do they know it is a second account? Did you use the same phone number, or same email, or same household address, or none of those, and they still figured out from the billing address of credit cards used?
Different email, different phone number, same home address. Same computer/phone log in. The account was not removed when first created, but it was immediately removed when another account was used for purchase.
I doubt it was credit cards, I have three accounts: mine, spouse and parent. I use them all when there's a good coupon (reward) and usually use the same credit card. Two have the same mailing address but different name/email/phone number.
Think Meijer is just starting an reward if you buy under $500 in an trip. Bought $300 yesterday , I got $60 in rewards and I see in progress tab with $44 to go. May be if I buy another $50 to get another $10 . Not sure it’s only me or others also seeing
I tested this by buying $50 GC today, i got another $10 reward now. so we can split and buy on multiple days also.
Yes this is normal for all Meijer rewards offers. You can spend until expiration and it keeps track of spending.
Hello, I did $100 on a Disney Gift card this morning and have not seen anything trigger in the rewards. It adds up collectively into rewards in your Mperks account to use correct? I read through the fine print and didnt see anything excluding Disney. I wanted to make sure this worked before putting $500 into it.
It takes few hours, sometimes in an hr or two but sometimes it takes upto 24 hrs

It does not.
Meijer is really trying to drive customers into their stores. Had an $8 off any purchase last month (hadn't used that account in months) and just got a 10% entire purchase on my mPerks account today.
