The Fine Print

  • To receive a $250 bonus, open a new Vantage Credit Union (VCU) checking account as the primary owner during the offer dates of April 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025 and provide promo code LN132CK on the account application.
  • Promo code is required and must be listed on the application to be eligible for this offer. Bonus is subject to IRS reporting and will be deposited into the new checking account by September 30, 2025.
  • Checking account must be open with a balance of zero or more and in good standing without any court orders pending against the account at the time of the bonus deposit in order to receive the bonus.
  • Offer is valid only for new checking accounts.
  • Individuals who are the primary owner on an open VCU checking account or one that has closed within 12 months prior to opening new checking account in conjunction with this offer are not eligible to receive the bonus.
  • Eligibility for this offer will be verified prior to providing the bonus.
  • One offer per household.
  • Cannot be combined with any other checking account offer.
  • No minimum balance on checking account required for bonus.
  • Federally insured by NCUA.

      It's a hard pull, so I don't know if there are a lot of takers here. Although, there aren't any requirements besides opening the account with a promo code... so maybe it's a wash? 🤷‍♂️

        • Nope, they ghosted me in the application messaging. I'll probably give them a call soon, but I keep forgetting about it during business hours.

    • Good luck. I applied on 6/19 after seeing the comment on the "Contact Us" page. OOS, but should qualify with the retired from US Military eligibility.

      The app is still pending. Reached out on 6/24 and was told the app is still under review.

  • If HUSTL is an arm of Vantage, wondering if having an account there would allow me to open this one OOS…
