5x MR at Sam’s Club

    Amex has 2 offers running currently
    1. Spend $15 or more, get $5 back Shake Shack in NY and MA (Almost All my amex cards had this one - Comes up when you login from the mobile app ONLY)
    2. Spend $10+, get 500 Membership Rewards® Points. Up to 2x Points (Only 2 of my cards had this one).

    For people that have both the offers on more than 1 card can make it even better.

    Since i had both the offers on 2 of my cards My Transaction was:
    1st Purchase -1 $25 Card (got a $5 bonus Card) - Charged $15 on card #1 and $10 on Card #2. (Gave me $5 Back on 1 card and a total of 1000 Points)
    2nd Purchase -1 $25 Card (got a $5 bonus Card) - Charged $15 on card #2 and $10 on Card #1. (Gave me $5 Back on 1 card and a total of 1000 Points)

    Got total of $60 in Gift Cards Paid $40 and got 2000 Points.

  • the Sams Club offer excludes Gasoline, but: you can use Sams Club Gift Card at the Sams Gas pumps. So, just buy a $300 gift card.

    You can also use Sams Club GC's at Walmart. So...it's a solid $300 purchase.

    • In store it should work. I think physical gift card works online, but I'd have to double check the terms.

      • Last time they ran a similar deal ($20 back for $100 on my BCP) I bought a GC in-store and it did trigger the offer.

        I made the mistake of using that gift card for an online order, though... the order got canceled by them (it triggered a security issue) and they had to mail me a new GC with the refund - they couldn't credit the card that was used.

        Even worse, the refund wasn't automatic... after waiting a few weeks I had to reach out to them by phone to find out what was going on. For the record, the online order was under $50, and was for some t-shirts... nothing 'fishy'.

    The Cheesecake offer will not stack with 2 free slices offer since the offer i have is for only in-restaurant.
    Also the the gift cards are sold through Cashstar. So anytime these deals comeup and even if it says online, they will not work if the giftcards are through Cashstar.

  • Went to CCF and bought 8 50 dollar GC netting me 32 bonus cheesecake card. Amex better get an offer for CVS next year cause I’ll be needing some diabetes meds shortly...

  • I wish I could have gotten the Cheesecake offer in at least one card but only seeing the Outback offer.

  • Is anyone else seeing different offers on the old interface? I haven't been checking the new interface, but it looks like that includes some offers that aren't on the old. Weird...

    • Yes, I noticed a couple of weeks back that different portals weren't synced. I think the offers eventually show, however.

    • usernamechuck, I think you’ve stumbled upon a major AMEX glitch. I see no offers available on my iPhone AMEX app. Out of curiosity (after reading your post) I logged into americanexpress.com and, lo and behold, saw my offers. Who knows what any of us may have missed?!!!
