  • Use promo code: VCOGREEN16 at checkout

newegg

The Fine Print

  • Today only; offer expires December 12, 2016 at 11:59PM PDT, or when funds and/or supplies are exhausted, whichever is first
  • $100 minimum must be met taxes or shipping fees
  • Does not include pre-order or gift cards
  • Cannot be combined with other promo codes, combos, or promotions that include a free gift with promo code
  • Limit one discount and one promo per customer

Our Verdict

This deal doesn’t work on gift cards, unfortunately, as per the terms.

There’s also an Amex Offer to get $25 off $200 at Newegg (that one does work on gift cards) which will stack beautifully with this Visa Checkout deal since Visa Checkout has been working to trigger Amex Offer credits. Altogether, you’ll pay just $175 for $220 purchase when combining the two deals.

Plenti  is currently offering 6x at Newegg or use the portal of your choice.

There’s also a Visa Checkout deal at Best Buy today.

I don’t see the discount, so it may have expired.

Does anyone have trouble adding an amex card? it has a 4 digit security code instead on the regular 3.

Although on second glance, its not clear whether newegg is a participating retailer for this promo. YMMV

Hello. I’ve been waiting for something like this, but am confused about your writing.
If the terms say “no GC’s” then how can this stack w/ the VC deal being that you have to use a code? I’m currently in a 4 Points hotel (*woods Plat Challenge) in LAS w/ very shotty DirecTV internet (rarely working).

Thanks for getting back (extremely bad connection) and exactly about the GC’s. Your writing just had me a bit confused.

“Cannot be combined with other promo codes, combos, or promotions that include a free gift with promo code”

I’m assuming it would be fine, but would redeeming a Newegg E-Gift Card nullify this deal?

I’m thinking of purchasing some Newegg E-Gift Cards with a few AMEX cards (with the AMEX Offer), then using them in conjunction with Visa Checkout to purchase a phone to maximize the deal.

Does the VCO discount work more than once (just like BestBuy VCO offer recently)?

Also, any idea what to buy?

Be the data point. You can see it before you checkout.

Realistically you pay $175 for a $220 purchase, right? The Amex deal will not be triggered unless the amount after VCO is >= $200.
