Current subscribers only get a discount of their remaining days on their current plan upgraded to extra or premium. They’re not allowing stacking on this so if you’re a current plus user, unfortunately the $99 deal does not apply to you.
You can ask for a cancellation and refund on your subscription to support. Then repurchase at the discounted rate. I auto renewed on 1/30 and asked for a refund 2/17 which was instantly granted. I then purchased the same subscription at a the discounted price.
Yes that makes sense, because it aligns with their policies. As for people that have already had it for more than 2 months, they won’t be able to use that option.
Buy a PSN GC on costco to save another $15 on this, even better deal.
