Priority Pass Adds No1 Lounge Access + 25 More Lounges

Priority Pass members can now access No1 lounges again. Previously No1 lounges added a £5 reservation fee in 2019 and then were removed from the Priority Pass network in late 2020. Priority Pass members can access the No1 lounges on a walk in basis (no reservation fee but lounges might be at capacity). In addition Priority Pass have added 25 more lounges.

  • Any lounges one can access on Ft Myers airport? I fly there next month but do not see PP/UA/AA or any club lounges at this airport...

    • No sir- years ago there was a private European based lounge for all of the German charters that come I. & out from RsW , but it’s been closed for a long time…

    • Lounges tend to be at airports where people make connections, and/or with high O/D business traffic. Smaller airports where few people make connections have little incentive to open lounges.

        • Europe is full of small countries, so the relationship between smaller airports in Europe to their country and smaller airports in the USA (which is where Ft Myers is and thus the question I was answering) to the whole USA is VERY different. So smaller-size airports in Europe may make decisions very differently than similar-size airports in the USA.

Isn't "not true at all" an overstatement if it is true within much of the USA??? You should have said "not true everywhere" rather than "not true at all" if you were going to offer Europe as being different than Florida.

    • Which card from which country? Is it a PP select or is it one of the PP memberships where you pay a discount rate per visit?

      • No. I don't have any visit fees. There is a 4 visit limit per year, but I guess that's enough for 90% of the people. The actual annual fee of that card is 15$ (RS 1000 in my home country), but I got the card during some lifetime free promotion.

This card is the reason why I am not taking Platinum as of now, and am happy with the Gold card.

    • Why would a lounge service operating in the US have previously charged 5 British pounds, instead of dollars? So seeing the British pounds symbol in the post above, I instantly knew these were overseas lounges.

    • With some excellent exceptions (like dining), Priority Pass really isn't US-centric.

    • My Lounge locations at Gatwick are also closed. No1, My Lounge and Club Rooms are all run by the same group, and count for 9 of the 25 "new" additions (6 at Gatwick, 2 Birmingham, 1 Heathrow). I know My Lounge locations used to be on Priority Pass before too (I believe they were pulled the same time as No1).

FWIW, I visited the No1 lounge at Gatwick before, was pleasantly surprised. I visited in the summer of 2019, after they started the reservation option. Was able to go right in without paying the reservation fee (was traveling Sunday afternoon/evening). My Lounge locations also had the option for a paid reservation. Its run by the same time, just down the hall, just a smaller room with a fake coffeeshop vibe.
