The Offer
- Raise is offering 15% off Starbucks gift cards, no promo code necessary
The Fine Print
- 4/10/19 only
Our Verdict
Remember to use a shopping portal for another 5% back, just keep in mind the lifetime limitations there. Even though this is being advertised all over the Raise site, I don’t actually see the Starbucks gift cards discounted by 15% so I guess it hasn’t gone live yet?

FYI, you can get 20% off of Starbucks gift cards in-store pretty much any time you want with the Cash.app Visa. (Use the $1 off any coffee shop Boost and buy/reload gift cards $5 at a time, making it $4 a pop. Those $5 purchases have to spread out by half an hour for the Boost to work, however.)
can u do it on Starbucks app?
As @guest_746856 said, this Boost only works in-store because it's a for a whole category and not a specific store.
The minimum amount you can load onto a card via the app is $10, though, so even with the $1 off, that's only a 10% discount.
Unfortunately not. Has to be from in-store terminal.
I see Raise still lists the warning about not transferring to your personal Starbucks account. I believe this had to do with if you register a card to 2 accounts Starbucks will lock your account down due to suspicion of fraud? Do we think these are all “fresh” cards so we could register them?
This was executed very poorly by Raise. I had multiple cards in my cart, then when I went to checkout was told they were no longer available. So it seems they weren't updating availability as people entered cards in the card.
Just an awful user experience.
In my experience, everyone goes for the highest card first with the largest savings already baked in. Try going to the middle of the available selections.
Popular gc go very fast during sales. You see the card, refresh the page 5 secs later and now it's gone. It could be really hard to make a purchase especially through portal
Going to be tough to get 5% cash back as most of the site don't give cash back for under $20, and the Starbucks 15% cards all look to be $15. But hey, $2.25 is $2.25. :)
Just purchase multiple?? Or is there a limit??
The 15% is out of stock now.
I guess not in stock yet when you looked, as @will said it had not gone live yet. It's live now.
I managed to buy a few of them before making the post. When I made the post all the 15% ones I saw had sold out (there were about 10 pages of them). I am guessing they'll be regularly restocking them throughout the morning or day.
