Tipping is for chumps. It was invented out of guilt. Back in the day people would go out to a pub and feel bad that they were having fun and a good time while the workers were serving u. I don't feel bad so I don't tip. No one tips me for doing a good job so why should I tip someone who chose a job that pays below minimum wage? I live in California where we pay waiters at least $10 an hour and idiots still pay tips. Also studies have found that you don't really get better service for tipping. So I feel tipping is for chumps.
But would you fight people in a group who expected you to tip?
Tipping is one way people show their superiority over each other. Oh look how generous I am. When alone they would hardly tip but in a group they have shout out how much they are tipping.
