  • Giftcardmart pays a fee to a third party public record agency who collects data of individual and GCM use it to identify first time user on their site. Bought 4 x staples gift card at discount rate of 4% yesterday and received a call just now, they can generate questions by entering my full name and home address only. I forgot the name of the agency they pay but I'm really interested in knowing more about such public record agency and how they work.

  • Bought a small Kohls GC to test GiftCardMart with Ink. Codes as 'work related'.
Also eBay has disappeared as one of the 'buy' cards at GCMart.
Kinda ominous after their big splash on Redditt about their coding for Ink 5%.

    • All good. GiftCardMart yields the Ink 5%, and eBay GCs are still available (when in stock).

Additionally, thegiftcardstore (which sells some GCs on eBay) also gave 5% Ink for me on one eBay transaction.

  • Kroger phased out their senior discount as of last year. Aldi beats them anyway.

  • I'm confused on the ink 5X on giftcardmart thing. Ink only pays 5x on office supply stores and phone/internet bills, why would this giftcardmart be eligible for 5x? What category would this be?

  • I feel like I'm going crazy or doing something wrong, but the Best Buy gift cards aren't zeroing out in my cart when I go through their two step process. My cart shows a charge for the full amount of the BB GC. Boo.

  • The Citi ATT link is not working any more. I realized it earlier this week. I applied for it 7 or 8 days after my double cash card. I called the application department last week, was first told I could only get a credit line $5000, then said I didn't approve. I wasn't surprised at all. Got the mail a few days ago said too many inquiries/accounts open, something like that.

Ulta card. So I know I shop outside Ulta, so that's $6000 = 2000 points, in order to get the best ratio of 1 point = $0.0625. Spend $500 outside then I'll get 500 points, so (2000-500)*3=$4500, that means I need to spend $4500 outside instead of $6000. $4500 for a cash reward of $125. Citi double cash gives me $90 for the same $4500 spending. But I treat it as a sign-up bonus then I know there are cards that give $100 if spend $500. I get $17.50 for $500 spending or $125 for $4500 spending. Not a good deal to me.
